A welcome change from yesterday, no? Although the volume will stay dialed up to SQUEE, because look! LOOK!!!!! I PLANTED IT IN OCTOBER AND IT LIVED THROUGH THE WINTER AND NOW LOOK!!! OMG OMG OMG STRAWBERRIES IN MARCH!!!!!

  1. My Girls, 3 and 6, and I planted a strawberry plant we got at Home Depot a few weeks ago and it already has had a couple ripe berries on it. The girls are THRILLED. The berries have been pretty small so far though, I hope we get some bigger ones.

    Congrats! 🙂 I’d be more impressed if it survived a Wisconsin winter though. We got 7″ of snow yesterday.

    I live about 5 minutes from a 90-acre u-pick farm. My Progeny and I go berry picking every year. We also go apple picking in the fall. When we pick berries, it goes something like, ‘one in the bucket, one in the mouth.’ Their berries are da-bomb. Once we picked four POUNDS of really ripe raspberries . . . . they only lasted a couple hours.
