Iiiiiiiiiiiit’s BACON!!!*

Posted by Lissa on September 24, 2008

Now that we’ve settled the caliber question for velociraptors and sandworms, what’s the proper ammo to take out a pig the size of a Shetland pony?

Caroline Hayes and her neighbours in Uki, in northern New South Wales, began feeding the pig, which they named Bruce, when it appeared in the village 10 days ago after apparently being dumped in a nearby rainforest.

But the animal grew increasingly aggressive, demanding more and more food.

When Mrs Hayes, 63, tried to leave her house early in the morning to use the outdoor toilet, the pig bit her leg and herded her back inside the house, where she is trapped.

You do not FEED the pig, dear lady.  You feed ON the pig.  You’re welcome.

More pigs!  And still more!  How about pig candy?

*That has GOT to be one of the most effective ads of all time.  Can’t you just hear it?

Pig? There’s only one caliber for pig.

    S&W 500 Magnum. Nothin’ but bacon…

Why? If there’s more than one caliber for deer, shouldn’t there be more than one caliber for pony-sized pig?

    Inside gunnie joke, Lissa.

It seems that like every other week there’s a picture of some “monster” hog taken with a Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum.

Which, BTW, I could probably scare up if you wanted to shoot “the most powerful handgun in the world”… 😉
