I just got back from some family time in which, once again, disagreeing with the liberal agenda somehow deems me some kind of untermensch, and I decided to inform my mother that it still hurts me that my whole family doesn’t seem to care how their passing judgments on me over the past five years is not something that has gone unnoticed or is easy to brush off….because they’ve been acting like it’s OK for them to judge me this way because their perspectives are, of course, the correct and true perspectives and I’m obviously the one with a fault in my viewpoints.

Orwell has long been my “go-to” guy for many great quotes. Though he was more or less a Socialist himself, he despised Communism. I don’t see much difference in the economic outcome from either “ism” myself. Eventually the Socialist types have to resort to violence to implement their ideals when folks find out it’s not quite what it’s cracked up to be.

History shows us that. It’s amazing though, how many are ignorant of that experience.
